Drat, yet again I should have started harassing/mocking/ridiculing/insulting.
For the very first time I called this number just now.
A man answered with a foreign accent but he was easy for me to understand.
He answered only with a tired, “Hello.”
I said kindly, “Hello, is this PayPal?”
He said, “Yes, this is PayPal customer service.”
I asked, “Great Sir, what is your name?”
I have not heard him speak or answer.
The counter on the call is ticking still and currently is at 4 minutes and 27 seconds. Of course this is not a toll-free number.
I’ll hang up the call and now I will harass 'em unless they can block my phone numbers.
It seems that I am not cut out to try to string along these criminals, or I guess I should STOP ASKING for a first name of a criminal.
I like playing nice for awhile until unexpectedly I go hard on 'em.

Regarding the callback number of @FIREFIGHTER619, here is some info but I have not called it yet:
(805) 262-7543 … On my second call, a foreign guy answered but I could not tell if it was the same guy who answered my first call.
He answered the call with, “Hello, you have reached PayPal.”
I kindly asked him his name and he said he is Harry, unless he meant Hairy.
I told him I’d received communication about a $879.99 transaction.
He asked me to read it.
So very slowly and enunciating in an exaggerated manner, I read the script that @Sol provided.
Half way through the script he started asking me if I want to cancel the transaction, but since he asked me to read him the communication that I received I continued to finish reading to him the last half of their fraudulent communication.
When he finished, he asked in an exasperated way if I want to cancel the transaction.
I replied, “Hell yes I wanna cancel the transaction!”
He asked me if I am sitting at my computer.
I replied, “No, I am lying with my computer.”
He asked, “Where are you?”
I replied, “I am on the couch.”
He asked, “Could you go sit at your computer.”
I replied, “As I informed you already, I am lying with my laptop in my lap. I am lying on the couch with my old laptop in my lap. Do you understand?”
Anyway, he had me to to the URL that I typed below. He wanted me to enter the SERVICE CODE 74881.
(805) 262-7543
Now when I try from both my TextMe and TextNow numbers, I get the automated voice about how the user is busy.
I’m gonna switch my VOIP to show only UNKNOWN NUMBER and harass this number (805) 262-7543 as well as the (980) 231-2265 number.
So they are in Kolkata, Doc.
@drwat, I saw in December of last year a documentary about India and Kolkata looked like a great place to visit. Kolkata seems like a vibrant and beautiful city, at least what was shown in the documentary. I am sure every city everywhere in the world has some poverty but Kolkata seems like a vibrant place.
Kolkata folks are Bengali speaking wonderful folks. Noble prize winners like Rabindra Nath Tagore. Movie director Satya Jit Ray. Sitar musician Ravi Shankar.
Thanks for the info, Doc! I did not know Ravi Shankar was from Kolkata. He was very influential on some rock guitarists, like George Harrison for example.
Ever since I was in Junior High school or maybe Senior High school, I have wanted to visit India. From my midwestern American perspective, India is exotic with exotic food and colorful clothes and a long history culturally.
