Remote Access Software: ConnectWise from djhelp.top (Nickname: “Secure Server of PayPal”) or AnyDesk from assistmedispute.com (IP: 103.194.228.61 , Address: 1692604762/Owner, 1311157938/User Password: paypal123)
The scammer’s ConnectWise was broken, so “Sam” asked me to log into my email account, couldn’t tell the difference between gmail and mail.com, and wanted me to download ConnectWise from the same website before then asking me to install AnyDesk
- Once remotely connected to my virtual machine, the incredibly-deaf “Sam” wanted me to complete their “refund & cancellation” form and share the “cancellation ID” with the “refund officer, Carl Johnson” who called from their personal Lumen/Skype number (229) 375-5584 and wanted me to log into my nonexistent bank account.
- Since I don’t do online banking, I was asked to search for the nonexistent website then get by bank’s number from the checkbook. They then refused to “suppoat,” so I terminated the AnyDesk connections and attempted to reverse them to no avail.
