Scammer’s Website or Email: compromised Gmail account
Additional information about this scam:
I Initially contacted the scammer using the 813 number but I couldn’t hear the scammer well so he called me back using the 408 number.
He asked for the invoice number and charge amount, I played along to see what the scam was briefly. Basically said my PayPal was compromised and he needed me to get on a computer to fix the fraudulent charges.
I told him I was driving and he could call me back in about an hour. He told me to make sure I did not discuss our conversation with anyone as it was confidential and he’d call back in an hour to remove the charges when I was on a computer.
