The scammers will ask for an invoice number and my email address, prompting me to “connect to the secure server” through QuickAssist or AweSun (ID: DESKTOP-I8NF6L1)
- Once remotely connected to my virtual machine, the scammer attempted to view my browser history and installed programs, and told me to throw my computer out of the window after uninstalling AweSun.
