I am not sure if I should create a new thread or use this existing thread. I guess I’ll use this thread since it mentions how PayPal password has changed and it seems to be similar to the text msg I just received.

At about 11:30 AM Central today, 11-Jul-2022, Monday, I called both the +1 (334) 539-8059 that sent the text msg and the +1 (845) 307-6378 that is in the text msg. A different guy answered BOTH phone numbers as PayPal. Since I do not have time to mess with them, I am posting this thread in case anybody wants to bait them.
I told both guys at each number that I must call back because something came up at work and I must deal with it immediately. I did not want to spook them.
I hope you don’t mind if I piggyback on this thread. I have received a few fake Paypal invoices. The last two include these numbers: 866-593-2244 and 818-835-5894.
The emails contain a pdf of a faked Paypal invoice. I will try to post online with a link to it. In the mean time it sasy "you have sent a payment of $943.95 to "the Wilson combat inc’. It has an invoice date of 11/07/2022. it also says It may take a few moment for this transaction to appear in your account. Please don’t reply to this email for assistance call this number.
So my guess is they want me to call and say hey i did not authorize that charge and they will probably phish for my account info or some way to steal money from me.
