Got this number from a friend, confirmed it’s a PayPal scam
From a fake paypal invoice referencing +1(833)318-6642 as a number to call if there is a billing dispute.
Number is still active - currently taking calls as PayPal
What the heck is that hold music?
Not familiar with it, maybe something custom (or a new provider?)
After this call they quit answering, all calls sit on that hold music for 5 minutes & then drop.
New to me. Yesterday I heard this space-age tune twice
Twice on other numbers? I can’t hear if there is a familiar transfer audio.
Yeah I’ve heard this thing maybe 3 or 4 times recently.
