Answers as: “PayPal Suppoat”
Technician: “Alex”
“Case ID:” CDUNJY
Falsely Claims: “Auto-renewal for McAfee,” I have been “scammed in the past”
Remote Access Software: ConnectWise from dsonline.help (Nickname: “Secure Server,” Code: 59659)

Once remotely connected to my virtual machine, “Alex” falsely claimed there were “multiple people” connected to my bank before taking his sweet-ass time to prepare their “secure server.”

  • I was then asked to close my web browser and open the Command Prompt before they became incredibly-invasive. and asked me to log into my nonexistent bank account.
  • Since I don’t do online banking, I was asked to search for the nonexistent website of my fake bank and ask me to log into a completely separate bank.
  • I was then asked to “secure” my account by going to my local branch and withdraw all but $200 from my account. During this time, “Alex” blanked my screen with a fake software update so he can view my webcam to no avail and go to turbotax.com
  • The bhenchod then promptly refused to “suppoat.”
