  • The scammer, “Mike,” answered as “PayPal Suppoat” and refused to provide “suppoat.” I called back, and “Mark” asked for the email associated with my nonexistent PayPal account before hanging up.
  • I called back once more, and “Ruby” falsely claimed my identity was stolen to register a PayPal account in Delaware, California, Ohio and China, which has since been placed on hold, as well as make an additional $500 gift card purchase from Amazon, prompting me to go to my local CVS to purchase a “free PayPal Blocking Card.”
  • I called back, and “John” falsely claimed the purchase was made from North Carolina, constantly asking for my banking information.

Called them and started crying about how I can’t afford this charge until “Lisa” hung up. Not sure how to record audio on textnow.

Iv been scambaiting for a few years now recently and they have been telling me to have some (“tea or coffee” when they put me on hold.
Could multiple scams be sent out by the same company?
