HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:

  • The first scammer, “Sam,” was a deafchode, so I called again to “Danny,” who answered as PayPal to claim there was a “suspicious on your network” and prompted me to “secure my information” by “opening the Google Chrome” and download AnyDesk (ID: 1126539555/“Administrator”).
  • Once “Danny” remotely connected to my virtual machine, he asked me to go to PayPal.com and “log into” my nonexistent account. They knew I was baiting, so I played the Bhenchod Song and reset my virtual machine before they could get my IP address.
