I think he just was telling you what you wanted to hear.
Of course, not a single word of that was true. I was just impressed by his ability to lie in circles for so long.
I’m also surprised he didn’t just swear and hang up like most of these guys do. I suppose he was having a boring day and sometimes the scammers prefer to have a conversation for a while before going back to scamming.
