Drat, I too got no answer. It is ringing numerous times.
I got put into a voicemail.
Using my piss poor attempt at an old and decrepit voice, I left a message:
Hello? PayPal? Is this PayPal? I need to speak to PayPal immediately! Please call me back.
Maybe I’ll get a callback! 
Damn me, I did it again!
I tried again just now the (877) 744-1860. The voice of the woman who answered my call is the exact same voice of the woman in your audio recording.
She read to me the exact same script with the exact same tone and inflection of her voice that is in the audio file you posted.
And what on earth did I ask?
Yes, I asked nicely and sincerely, “And what is your first name, Miss?”
She hung up immediately!
Okay, I gotta get back to harassing immediately and insulting and mocking these criminals!
Whenever I try to nicely ask a first name or to clarify the pronunciation of a first name, the criminals hang up on me!
I was just trying to be nice! I was trying only to establish a friendly relationship with the criminal customer service representative who is trying to help me!
