Skype are a bunch of mafioso these days it seems, their settings seem to magically sign you up to subscriptions even if you never had them in your life. That is twice in a year they’ve taken around £65 / $80 with no warning and then hours spent trying to get it back, which after about a week or two it does but in the meanwhile, presumably it helps their bottom lines and they hoover up interest - I am sure I am not the only person this happens to. Could be a genuine glitch but they’ve done nothing to fix and do no seem to care.
Peerless Network just refuses to do anything, even when it’s a known scam number. I’ve filled complaints with the FTC and the FCC against Peerless.
I even spoke to a senior supervisor at Peerless and explained it to her. I was polite, professional and… She just hung up on me, mid sentence. It’s discouraging that no one is willing to step up and stop this. All I can say is that as long as I’m still breathing, I’m going to do my best to make it as difficult as I possibly can for these sewer rats to victimize innocent people.

You know we talked yesterday and I was in good spirits? I was talking to those criminals in prison running a Sherriff scam and still was having a good day.
Today I’ve been on a chat with fking Skype and the rep is saying they CANNOT shut down the number even months later because there is no ‘actual’ proof of them running a scam.

WOW! that’s not good. And I called that number back this morning and had the same VM as when he said he was going to block you.
