Fake Legal Citations: The document cites MCL 257.233a, which actually refers to “Odometer mileage disclosure” for vehicle sales, and MCL 380.508, which is a repealed section of the School Code. Neither has anything to do with toll violations.

Generic Identities: The “Judge” and “Clerk” are both listed as John Smith, a generic name used by scammers. The actual court administrator for the 36th District Court is not named John Smith.
