It also counts as a scareware, showing fake errors, issues and problems that are not really important just to scare the consumer into buying the software or their call center support which is a scam. They were using fake popups on the internet to advertise their software and even their own landing page impersonated Microsoft Windows. Moreover, it detects clean files as a virus and also does not protect against real malware and other security threats to your computer. Even Malwarebytes detects them as potentially unwanted program, blocks their website and helps you to remove them from your PC. Outbyte PC Repair in the version that I tested is AppEsteem certified. What does this certification mean if they fail to detect deceptive behavior of their partners? STAY AWAY FROM Outbyte PC Repair AT ALL COSTS!
