Description: These guys don’t respond as much to calls, but respond pretty quickly to texts. The scam works by posting a popular product like the Ps5 or Switch for very low prices (under $100), then asking the victim to contact them outside the app. The scammer then demands a “shipping fee” from “Fedex” of $15-$25 to a Paypal or Cashapp account, then when you pay them, they block you, never to see your product again.
What to do: Gather as much information about these guys as possible. Find their location(s), try to social engineer your way into getting some personal info for them. If you can find a linked-in or FB profile, that would do wonders in stopping these scammers.
