Hey Admins. Is there something that can be done to stop the obnoxious ad placement in between messages? On my iPhone it causes the message string to go back to the top as I’m scrolling through messages and it never stops, I don’t begrudge you from making money off ads but the ads themselves are just clickbait which seems antithetical for our entire existence here. It really is a PITA.
Thanks for supporting our site. Sorry to hear that the ads are causing issues. I personally cannot do anything about it, but I will bring it up with the Owners. However, as the site uses Google Ads to cover costs, we may not be able to stop the placement as Google handles it automatically.

Yeah, the ads on mobile are those ones that are on the bottom of news sites as well, they should prolly be moved off to the side or something, as it makes threads super long
@FattyMatty#183672 Unfortunately Google controls the actually advertisements you see, we only allow the space to be used for ads. The scrolling ads on mobile do have issues from time to time, and there should be a button in the corner of the ad you can use to report it to Google. They do tend to remove ads that are obnoxious, or ones that cover actual website content.
