This number was sent to me in an email that managed to get past my spam filter. In the email, it said that because of COVID19 I was able to get discounted health insurance and that Biden had reopened enrollment. Legit or not (Which I highly doubt) they used information that I gave in a scam survey to send me the email which is very suspicious. Have fun with this one!

I gave them a call. They are NOT with healthcare.gov. I do work with CMS (centers for Medicare and Medicaid, also covers the federal marketplace [healthcare.gov]), and we are not allowed to tell people what company we work for specifically. This guy might just enroll you in healthcare coverage, but he’s probably a broker looking for the enrollment commission. He’ll probably fake the information you give him so you can get a super great plan super cheap and not even realize you’re cheating the system until you file your taxes and the IRS says “oh hold on, you owe us like $50000” (this isn’t an exaggeration). The broker doesn’t get any of that 50000, but they don’t get in trouble for it either, they just take their commission and run.
