Additional information about this scam:
Call victims pretending to be O2. Unlike most O2 numbers, it is actually set up to receive calls back so you can call them and say you missed a call from them. They’ll tell you your membership is running out and you need to pay them to renew it. My informant isn’t an O2 customer so they reported it to me. These scammers are likely in Lahore, Pakistan as that’s where most O2 scammers are based.
I’ll be doing some more investigating on this so I’ll post on here if I find any more info.
