If only it didn’t say the scammer thing at the beginning and we can get scammers to call other scam call centers.

WORKS!! Call sum bank fraud
Just went off line 5:30am

Welcome to the community, @Ellalin!

ANYDESK.COM is being used at present for the Bank Security Dept. of Visa via the +1 (213) 722-6637 number. Two suspicious charges of $400 and $1,300. To cancel the charges, they use ANYDESK.COM.

I spoke to Edward at Visa. It is Friday, 20-May-2022, at around 8:30 am Central in the good ol’ US of A.

=== === === === === === === === ===
A real man named Edward answered as Visa. He had a foreign accent but I could understand him. He asked again if I made these charges. I said no and he said we need to cancel the charges. He asked me for the first 4 digits of my Visa credit card number. I gave him 4414, and this is from the Bob site’s fake credit card info from the past that I saved. He never asked me my name though! He asked when I last used my credit card and I said two weeks ago but that I did NOT make those two charges $400 and $1,300.

He asked me the financial institution with which I have the Visa card. I said Wells Fargo.

In answer to his further questions, I said I do NOT have a debit card and I do NOT have any other credit card.

He asked if I have any checking and savings accounts. I said that I have one of each at Wells Fargo bank.

He asked if I do online banking? I asked him what he means by “online banking” and he asked if I use the bank’s website to check my balance. I said that I DO check my balance sometimes on the website when I am balancing my check book. He asked me if I use a CELL PHONE or PC to check my balance. I said I use my computer as I do NOT have a cell phone. I said I have a landline phone.

He wanted me to go to ANYDESK.COM to cancel the charges.

It’s a fantastic resource and a lot of fun. We had a very similar thing for several months but unfortunately, for now anyway, it’s on hold for a few reasons. Much credit to Midnight for this!

(20-May-2022, 11:42 am Central in USA). Jay with a thick accent answered as Windows Support. He connected me to Steve the Senior Technician. Steve said someone from California hacked into my computer. He had me press Windows Key/R Key and type msconfig, then click Services on System Configuration popup. In answer to his next question, I said some services are STOPPED and some are RUNNING. He had me close the System Configuration box and told me that some of the services are STOPPED as a result of the hacking AND that I AM LUCKY TO BE ABLE TO USE MY COMPUTER AT ALL. Whew, I am fortunate.

He had me go again to Windows/R keys and type www.rb.gy/ptia8l (the last character is a lower case L)

He asked me what I see. I told him honestly that I see the McAfee web page that says that the https://www.ultraviewer.net/en/ultarviewer_setup_62_en.ex is suspicious. He put me on hold and I am on hold now. I have McAfee on my computer. This must have thrown him off.

So they use UltraViewer. I am on hold still.

OOH, sounds kosher! Any credit card will make you put in your account number and your CCV and your pin code just to talk to a human. Then you have to go thru the automated system and then be on hold for awhile because they are always busy. Then they make you verify your name and address. They look up the account and put a hold on the charges. Usually, they want to send you a new card as yours has been compromised. They read you all the legalese and hang up. You get a customer service survey at the end. A few days later you get a letter about it. These people have no idea how any of it works because they are dumb and lazy.

Yeah @JusticeinTexas, and the Visa Bank Security Dept guy only asked for the FIRST FOUR digits of my credit card number AND he did NOT ask me for my name!

Haha, and he did NOT mention about how I need to destroy my Visa credit card so they can send me a new card with a NEW a/c number.

You’d think that the owners or bosses in these criminal call centers would educate them about how things really work in America. They are too lazy I guess to put forth the effort to sound more convincing and realistic, and this laziness of these criminals is why at least in part they do not have a LEGITIMATE and REAL job that does not include criminal behavior.

STUPID and LAZY are not great characteristics for people who want to have and KEEP a NON-criminal job!

EDIT: I’m still on hold for Steve to come back from Windows Support.

Second EDIT: No, at some point either the call disconnected or someone on the other end hung up the call. Drat.

I spam them for 300 times and each time the answer I told them hey this is Alice in the Wonderland how may I help you
