Are the phone numbers posted on here always verified?
I called a couple of them and they seemed to be real not scammers.

Yes, the numbers are verified by staff and other trusted members. Trusted members are allowed to post without going through staff verification. Some posts submitted through automated systems may have the real number further Doreen in the post so it’s important to rezd the entire post and not just the title

We do our best to prevent legitimate numbers from being posted, but it is ultimately your responsibility to discern who you are talking to and whether or not they are a scammer. We do not guarantee that the numbers on here are always scams. If you suspect that a number belongs to a legitimate person and has been posted by mistake, please let us know.

I make myself aware of possible legitimate numbers being posted and their has been some but very few I have ran across . I ask questions from beginning as I take charge and ask simple questions and if they are not able to supply me the simple answers then it gets more complicated for other party.

Some scammers may try to convince you that they are legit or that you have dialed a private number in hopes that Scambaiters will stop calling. A PCH scammer may stop answering as PCH and try to convince you that you have misdialed or that they never called. This has happened to me. Some of the finest people are on here and they do everything that they can to verify numbers and pull down/flag bad posts.
