Not just one number

This robocall system has been dialing my number with a bunch of numbers, all saying stuff like “there is an evil spirit, press the numerical button one now.” or “if something bad has happened to you, press the numerical button one.” These calls started in my area, but have soon started reaching around the whole country. This is a recording, so nobody’s at the other end. I just wanted to say this, so it’s not really a scam, but it’s annoying as all heck. Numbers include:

+1 (571) 418-3148

+1 (336) 560-3649

+1 (401) 210-7440

I’m just going through my scam likely calls lol

At the end, it says “If you no longer wish to receive these messages, press 3”, and a different voice just says “Good bye”, and then hangs up. Tbh it’s really creepy

You have encountered the infamous Prophet Manasseh, he has been making outbound calls like this for quite some time now. You’re correct about what he does not being a full on ‘scam’, but his pre-recorded messages are solely meant to persuade older or more gullible people into eventually donating to his ‘ministry’. In the end, he doesn’t really offer you anything, it’s just a bunch of ‘fluff’, no actual product/service, except for hearing pre-recorded messages of his voice. He used to alter or ‘spoof’ his outbound caller IDs, but due to the recent changes within the telecommunications industry, every phone number he calls you from actually does in fact lead back to him/his phone system.

@tromboner69#133184 @Norm_Harrison#133301 Yeah, he’s fishing for you to donate what he calls a ‘change seed’ to initiate change in your life! He don’t know what, and he don’t know how, but he knows that by donating that ‘change seed’, you will receive the change you need. His latest gimmick is to use a specific number to trigger the results. Some random number is given, and the last one I listened to was apparently based around the number 43. Donate $43, or $143, or $10.43. Pick a number and add 43 cents, etc… I’ve heard previous ones with a different numbers, but the message is always the same.
