So I recently set up a VM and have everything ready to scambait, BUT when I try to visit sites like gmil.com or ttwitter.com I never get tech support popups.
I do get those “congratulations lucky user! you just won a phone!” type of scams they also originate from my country (Belgium) and I assume tech support scammers mostly target the UK and US, how do I appear as someone of the UK or US?
Yeah, as someone who resides outside the U.S, it won’t work unless you use a VPN. There are many to choose from with the majority of them being paid services. If you don’t want to pay or don’t mind getting slower connection speeds, I would recommend using VPN Book
