Yes indeed…these clowns are apartment scammers
I’ve heard kids and dogs several times
I know of dozens of apartment call centers
There was one Visa/Mastercard scammers doing this and sometimes PayPal for years.
I was intercepting their outbound calls and we’d call them instantly and say
“Hello dickheads, it’s me again!!”
Then we had them in an absolute panic with a story I made up telling them that undetectable boot sector RAT we put in their laptop allowed us to see their every move and every new number they activated.
They shit themselves and either smashed their laptop or wiped it and we never heard from them again until about 8 months ago it sounded like the same idiots.
My partner asked them if they got new computers and mentioned the boot sector trojan again and they immediately shut down again.
It was them. Never seen them again
