Falsely Claims: IP address hacked.
“John” was too deaf to provide “suppoat,” so I called back and got a separate bhenchod who also refused to “suppoat.”
- I got ahold of “John” once more, and he falsely claimed my IP address of 192.168.0.10 was at risk as I was using “basic-level software.”
- I was asked to sign up for “advanced protection” 3 years/5 devices $299.99 10 years/7 devices for $499.99, but “John” refused to “suppoat” because I cannot provide card details over the phone
The scammers falsely claim to operate from a single-family home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but they are really Micro Com Teck, LLC.
