Level 3 via Skype, baiting with virtual machine.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:
- The scammer, “David Roger,” operated from a busy call center and had Discord open. In order to “cancel,” you are asked to “open the Google Chrome” and go to qc.s24.help (Code: 84705).
- Once “David” remotely connects to my virtual machine, he had me fill out a “refund and cancellation form” and log into my nonexistent bank account. Since I don’t do online banking, I was asked to write down the ticket number (8973289138) as my call was transferred to his “senior, Peter”
- “Peter” will pose as the “PayPal Accounting Department” and ask me to log into my bank account anyways, so I played him the Bhenchod Song.
