Bandwidth.com line, scammers answer as “Norton” and are being baited with a fake $464.99 charge.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:
- The scammer will claim the charge was fraudulent and that the “hackers” withdrew $8,500 to invest in Bitcoin. I was asked to withdraw all the funds from my account and transfer them into a Bitcoin wallet.
- I called the number back after being placed on an endless hold, and they refused to pick up after 10 rings.
Wants me to install Iperius Remote Desktop app on iPhone 
and he swears its real Norton Support. hahahhaa
