Additional information about this scam: Found on directory. I gave ID as 2375194 and amount 399.99
They hung up a couple of times, they are extra sus.

They are spooked and acting like fools, at least the two that I spoke to.
I used N-867-5309 and $499.99 and Alex accepted it.
Drat, on my first call I got put into a voicemail. There seemed to be a voicemail greeting, but I did not understand the name. The message machine greeting said something about “You’ve reached [some name] [some other name]” but I could not understand the name. It seems like the human voice who recorded the voicemail greeting is not a native English speaker.
I left a message.
“Norton? I need to speak to Norton. I really need to speak to Norton.”
It seems like the voice of a woman who is from India or Pakistan.
That is very professional and convincing to have someone call “Norton” and listen to the hold music but then be put into a voicemail saying you’ve reached some person’s voicemail. I cannot understand what her first and last names are.
Maybe I’ll get a call back though!
