HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:

  • The scammer asked for my email address and if I wanted to set up my service on my computer or on my smartphone. As I was at my computer, I was asked to “open the Google Chrome” and download support.me (Code: 792726).
  • Once the scammer remotely connects to your computer, they will ask for you to log into your email account, even if you only access it on your smartphone. I responded by attempting to play him the Bhenchod song, but he immediately restarted my computer.
