Level 3 via Skype, baiting with virtual machine.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:
- The scammer will claim you were subscribed to Norton when you got your computer, prompting you to “cancel the auto-renewal” by “opening the Google Chrome” and going to join.zoho.com (ID: 398285818, [email protected])
- Once the scammer remotely connected to my virtual machine, I was then asked to fill out his “cancellation and refund application” and log into my nonexistent bank account. Since I don’t do online banking, I played him the bhenchod song.
