Level 3 via Skype, baiting with virtual machine.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:

  • “Thank you for cancellation department.”
  • The scammers answers as Zelle and Norton, claiming Norton provided you with a free protection plan. My bait was interrupted by a cold call from an Indian Walmart impersonator.
  • In order to “cancel,” you are asked to throw your computer out the window.

Boy, I’ve been getting a ton of these lately too, but all from either spoofed or non-working call back numbers.

I believe that they are upset, and stupid. They have sent another number. I added it above so as not to create another post.
