Scammer’s Website or Email: The email is from Upgrade Alerts receipt # 145486077 [email protected]
Additional information about this scam: I received the email today, Thursday, 21-Dec-2023, at 7:01 am Central in the U.S.A.
I searched the phone number in this website using different formats but I could not find an existing thread for the phone number. Therefore I thought that I’d create this thread.
There is an attachment in the email that I did NOT open. The name of the attachment is Inv-442001-Norton-360-Lifelock-CUSTOMER.pdf.
When I called the phone number in the email, John Parker from Lifelock answered. I told him I received the email and that I do NOT want to renew the subscription. He asked for the Invoice Number and I gave him the 442001 Invoice Number. He had me go to a browser and type in the following URL:
The subject of the email is the following: Your receipt confirmation id # 245774
Here are the contents of the email:
RECEIPT/ORDER
[my email address] NORTON CUSTOMER
We appreciate you signing up for Norton Live Lock Anti-Virus for PC. Within a day or two, the funds will be withdrawn from your account.
Please stop by calling +1 (941) 867 7352. The funds will be deposited into your bank or credit card account within one to two business days.PDF is included.

Unsurprisingly this phone number is from the phone company SINCH.
It is not common for me nowadays to get a scam email with a phone number in it.
Who knows of course how long this phone number will be active.
