I noticed that the purchase in this email is Electronic Warfare.. What “electronic warfare” was purchased?
I am calling now. I am on the 'phone with Alex.
=== === ===
Okay, I was speaking to “Alex” about this email I received and I’d called (951) 406-2800 that is in my email and also in the different email that @colbags kindly posted when this thread was created. I spoke to Alex though about the contents of the email I received. During the call, I could hear him fine as well as some background voices that are probably his criminal colleagues BUT he kept asking me if I could hear him. It seems he could not hear me reliably, so he said that he’d call me back. I hung up.
He called me back from the following CALLBACK number:
- Phone Number: (765) 313-8232
- Date of this Report: September 10, 2024
- Phone Line Type: VOIP
- Phone Company: BANDWIDTH.COM
- Phone Location: ANDERSON, IN
I answered this (765) 313-8232 callback number and still it seemed he could not hear me though I could hear him fine. So I hung up I think.
I immediately called back the (765) 313-8232 callback number but I got put into a voicemail, and I said I’d been speaking to Alex on two different calls on two different phone numbers but that Alex could not hear me it seems.
After I left a message, Alex called me for a second time from the (765) 313-8232 callback number and I answered. On THIS CALL he finally could hear me. He asked for the order id in the email I received. I told him there is no order id but that there is a transaction number and a customer id in the email that I received.
He asked for the customer id and I gave it to him.
He asked for the amount of the purchase and I gave him the $489.87 amount in the email that I receievd.
He said he’d found my account and asked if I do NOT want to RENEW.
I asked, “Renew what, Alex? The email I received is for ELECTRONIC WARFARE.”
This confused him.
I ended up reading him the contents of the email I received word for word.
He said the “electronic” in the purchase is for a Chrome Book.
I asked, “Do you mean a Chrome Book tablet?”
He replied, “Yes, to renew your Norton subscription on your Chrome Book tablet!”
I asked, “But Alex, what does a Chrome Book tablet have to do with the “Purchase: Electronic Warfare” in the contents of the email I received? What does “Warfare” have to do with renewing Norton on a Chrome Book tablet?”
He said, “Well I see in my system that the renewal of Norton is for a Chrome Book.”
I asked, “Why then does the email that I received have ‘Purchase: Electronic Warfare’ rather than ‘Purchase: Norton Renewal for a Chrome Book?’”
Haha, he hung up. We had a fairly long conversation though. He hung up though before trying to get onto my machine.
A purchase of Electronic Warfare!
Who are the idiots who write these emails!
If only all of the users in this website could chip in together and purchase an ELECTRONIC WARFARE MISSILE to demolish the call center of these criminals! (I mean of course demolish their call center with all of 'em in it!) Okay, I am not encouraging violent behavior, but I can dream about it!
This group likes to make sexual comments. They stop that real fast when reminded that their bloodline smells like the inside of a Pakistani a$$ that was visited by a Chinese soldier. They get upset real fast and stammer because they have no reply to an insult like this. I let them start running their mouths before I drop the hammer.
Just now I conferenced a call to (951) 406-2800 and a call to (765) 313-8232 into the same conference call.
They both said their script. They were surprised and befuddled I think. Finally I spoke and told the two of them to STOP sucking each other’s [you know what] and talk to each other! You are in the same conference call, you stupid criminals who work in the same call center. One of you is on the (765) 313-8232 call and the other of you is on the (951) 406-2800 call!
They both muttered something angrily in a foreign language and hung up.
