Why do almost all scammers think that the better Business bureau is a federal agency?
I was getting a little spicy with them and he told me that I “better watch my language, the calls are recorded by better Business bureau and I could be arrested for using abusive language.”
This is not an isolated incident, fake Social Security, FBI, FTC, etc. almost always say that the better Business bureau is monitoring the ’ federally recorded line’.
Do they not understand that the BBB is a private company?
