Extra Info: Teamviewer app and access to computer requested

I recently received an email that claimed to be from Norton Anti-Lock saying I was charged $419.95 for an auto subscription. I never signed up for anything. It gave a support team number to call if I felt the charge was incorrect. I spoke with an Indian guy who said he was Alexander. He wanted me to download Teamviewer to send me the cancelation form “directly to my computer.” I asked why I couldn’t just receive a cancelation form via email and he said this was how Norton worked. He never asked for my email address or any of my information other than wanting me to grant Teamviewer control of my computer. I was very hesitant about this and when he got aggressive I shut it all down and hung up on him (the toll free number). Then he called back from the 914 number really pissed that I hung up and said that any charges to my account I would be responsible for. I asked him if that was Norton’s policy and he repeated himself. I tried to record the call and get him to say it again and he hung up on me. Not sure what next steps to take are. There’s no URL from the email to access and the email address only says “Authorized” without having an actual email address. Anyone know what the best steps to take are to protect myself?
