Falsely Claims:
- Every computer comes with a subscription to “Computer Security”
- I was “shouting” when I was using my normal speaking voice.
- I don’t understand proper English
Remote Access Software: Alpemix, QuickAssist (Code: UQTFA7) and UltraViewer (ID: 126383117/DESKTOP-AP8TB5T)
Once remotely connected to my virtual machine, “Mike” attempted to take a photo of me on the grounds of “customer verification” before then downloading UltraViewer and having me fill out a “Norton Cancellation and Refund Form,” which they falsely claim is “registered with the BBB.”
- However, as I was trying to fill out the form, “Mike” cussed me out and attempted to go on PrnHub before I intervened, leading to him refusing to “suppoat” altogether.
- Had the form been filled out normally, I would’ve been asked to log into my nonexistent bank account
At this point, I’ve seen so many of those refund forms here. Is it always the same group, and if not, has this particular group been exposed with a fake refund form back then?
