Nigerian Scammers want to have some fun

Hello everyone

I've noticed a weird trending today on Nigerian Scams, now they apparently are into Bitcoin, and they will use it to scam on facebook.

Basically there is a post saying "I'll teach 40 persons to earn $3000 in 48 hours without sending money to anybody, ask me how"

And when you ask how they answer with a number to contact them via WhatsApp.

They basically tell you bogus stuff about a supposedly Blockchain Mining Network, which involves giving out the credentials of your Bitcoin wallet or even creating a new one and giving the scammers the credentials.

So, after giving the scammers the credentials, either they will try to lock you out of your wallet and steal or your money or waiting for the new wallet to be deposited with bitcoin, then scammers do the same and dissapear.

As I'm unable to post the numbers on BobRTC I will post them here anyway, because we can call them and shut their phones or systems, and avoid more people to be scammed.

The numbers are:

+16502649320
+16193766919
+15707987145
+14088375320
+15857087943
+14348780645

As I noticed there is not a category on BobRTC for Cryptocurrency scams, but you can add it to Miscellaneous and have some fun.

See Ya Later

Nigerian scammers have also taken to Twitter posing as philanthropists and/or “Sugar Daddies” eager to help out someone in need in the amount of about $4000. Most accounts I find are all newly created so I am guessing that most are easily shut down but there’s been other illegal Twitter scams, some even happening in the US or assisted with help from someone in the US. I’ll probably start a thread on this for awareness after refreshing myself on what’s presently going on with them.

I do know they are all in Lagos using pretty nice cell phones and apps to do all of this.
