Can i ask, how does newbie jail work on this site?
Does it require some amount of time, posts, trust or something else before posts no longer need to be approved? I fully understand the need for this, but Im just curious, as sometimes its frustrating I can not respond immediately.
We get scammers who hear about the site and come with malicious intent. We also get (And it’s even happened to me, though I make every effort to check extremely thoroughly now) false numbers that have either been mistyped or maliciously posted to get back at an ex, a debt collector, etc. The timer is a layer between these problems so that mods can check numbers and ban scammers. It’s not newbie jail so much as a delay for the general public. If it bothers you, be patient with posts and for smalltalk, join the discord.
I do understand, just didnt know it was common policy, or eternal jail 
The one thing that does bother me a little about it, especially since Im a different timezone than most, is that by the time my post gets approved, its burried under an avalanche of bot posts or new threads, never to be seen. Might not be a bad idea to treat the time of approval as post time.
