(808) picks up but skittish as hell.

Funny. Femscammer on 8084667708 said stop calling, this is my personal number. But in the background you can hear guys reading the scam script and and arguing loudly. So, I just played the Hindi bots to entertain her.

Yeah - we nailed the bastards good. The femscammer is our main target! Also check our latest toll freee number.

Reported the number to inteliquent, “ROBERT WATSON” picked up too on the same number

I got a 40 minutes call with a scammer called Robert watson, it made me feel so sad when he kept talking me about his family conditions, he is only getting paid $400 a month for working 10 hours a day, he said they’re near New Delhi in india, his boss is around 50 years old and he is not married yet.

i gave him my phone number in case he need to seek help, this guy is from Philippines, very sad

I had a Kevin M. Huse, ext 202 as the first screener. What a glib talker. Then on to Officer Ashley Gibson, Badge ID 1212. We did the asset verification form, and after a long hold, a “treasury officer” by the fake name of Mike Wilson of Ext 201 took over the call. He jumped in mid-scam, probably because Ashley is juggling another caller. They sound very busy, as I mentioned earlier, you can hear yelling and arguing with callers in the background. I hope they’re talking to one of us, and they’re just being scam baited.

Total time on call, 1 hour and 34 minutes which included the drive to Wells Fargo to withdraw $500 from the ATM and the short drive to Super WalMart to buy the cards. Wilson wanted me to get back to the car and process the gift cards, but I was interrupted by Hindi speaking individuals right before I entered the car (scambaitsoundboard.com - male and female hindi bots). That's where he hung up.

@MQ9#144189 After a few failed startups with various people, I finally got on the script with a Mr. Mario Lee. Terrible actor and easily thrown off script - and apparently his only way to recover is to start over from the beginning. Anyway, after a while, I guess I had pushed too many buttons - started asking about the investigation they did regarding the rental car to which he had no answers for… eventually just said “you are just wasting my time” and hung up.

So for the next half hour or so, a couple of times a minute, I'd call back and ask for Mr. Lee. I ran through at least a half dozen people, including the femscammer who also said it was her private number and to stop calling. Some just cursed at me, some had some weird audio clips to play (to which I countered with the Tunak-Tunak-Tun song), and some would just hang up immediately. Many played with the name... I believe Mr. Brandon Lee also works there as well ;-O

Eventually, Mr. Lee picked up! I asked him why he hung up on me and we started into this weird dialog where he started telling me he hung up on me because he didn't want to scam me! We talked for a while - and apparently he has only been doing this for 7 days now - which explains why he was so bad reading the script. Of course, the guy is a scammer - the very definition of a con artist - so you can't really believe everything they say. Particularly when they hang up because you are "wasting their time". It was in interesting conversation, and I really laid the Karma stuff on heavy, which I could tell got to him a little bit. In the end, he said he was sorry and didn't want to scam anyone any more - so he was going to go home and get some sleep. This was around 4:10am over in India. Not that I believe him or anything, but it certainly was a different ending than most.

@MQ9#144189 @jaymee#144208 @firef0xx#144228 @Otis#144233 Robert Watson was in Texas. I asked if it was as cold as Minnesota. He said very cold. Ummm…it was 102 here today. I asked how he liked the stained glass windows in the Alamo and he said they were very beautiful. I just laughed at him because he was so stupid.

This is an unusual call center. As of 4:30 PM PDT they were still answering. You can hear a lot of chatter in the background. They sound tired, though. Officer Matthew Benson, Badge # GS74200, my case # DC7898W169 - - - didn’t even want to do the scam. He said I’ll call you back tomorrow and hung up.

We should try to hit this number again tomorrow. I tried to call again but only got voicemail. Maybe in the morning?

“DALE” just called me a son of a bitch when she found out my social security number was fake

@firef0xx#144228 The scammer is likely northeast Indian (Nagaland etc). They have == oriental looks.

These fake names also scam at this call center:

JeffreyTribiano, Kyle Williamson, Jesica Mayer, my Smith, Kevin Huse, Benjamin Alpert Donald Jefferson Alex Mahony Jack Gate

@drwat#144265 From the background chatter, it seemed to be a very busy call center. I could hear scammers shouting instructions or arguing with “customers”. It got so loud at one point, the scammer kept putting me on mute. Very annoying, but I had a role to play.

The female had Nagamese accent, at least from my untrained ear.

@jaymee#144232 good job!
