Live human responds when called. (Called on 2 December 2019)
Some additional details:
Call came to my cell phone (Verizon). Calling number was the same as the callback number in the title.
The robo-message when the number called me said the usual: "This is the Social Security Administration, your social security number will be suspended ...[etc.]... Call us immediatedly at 512-488-4627".
Response was static-y but still a live human who identified themselves as "Social Security Administration, how can I help you". The accent sounded Indian.
That's all I got so far.
