I’ve gotten six calls today, all from spoofed numbers unfortunately, from Indian scammers claiming to be from Medicare.
They call and say they are from Medicare and are offering new plans to help lower your costs. The person that answers the phone won't give me any more details, they simply say "Tell us when to call you back. We will set up a call back time."
I've talked to Medicare spammers and telemarketers before, but this one seems different.
These scammers are definitely located in India. Heavy accent + I said "you're not from medicare, you're from Delhi!". They responded with typical Hindi swears.
I don't have much information about this other than they only want to give you a call back and they are definitely in India.
If any of you have received one of these calls, let me know! Have you gotten any farther than them simply wanting you to give a call back time?
