Just got a call from Indian refund scammers. The automated message said that a iPhone was charged $500 some dollars to my account and to call to get the charge reversed. The number is 844-293-5969. Light 'em up and let me know if you get to them!

@Reynard#130942 Got to them once and had some fun, but now they don’t appear to be answering any more, regardless of what number I call from.
aw they aren’t answering anymore
They just answered.
On the line with them now
Fake Amazon. Talking with Jack.
Got jack on my machine. They use Alpemix remote software. Was running Wireshark, and I’m going through the logs now.
I got the call also, and it was really weird. The number was 877-506-0846, but then the guy claimed that he “couldn’t hear a word I was saying” so he called back from 315-949-6321. He mentioned something about having a balance of $300 for my account, and while I kept asking what the company was, he said to go to www.alpemix.com and he can help me cancel my account. Instead, I Googled it to see what results came up for scams. When he asked me to tell him what I saw, I told him I was looking at a bunch of results for a PC software scam and that I wasn’t falling for it. Then the guy said, “this is not a scam, I have your debit card, all of your credit cards on file and you’ll be charged unless I fucking guide you through the cancellation process”. So I asked him if I should just verify my birthdate or read him the last 4 digits of my Wells Fargo debit card and he said he knows the last 4 digits of my Wells Fargo debit card. That was when I knew for sure it was a scam because my bank account is not through Wells Fargo, plus he swore. When I told him I was reporting him to the consumer affairs, he told me to “go fuck off you fucking bitch” and hung up. Hopefully, they don’t call again.
