Called propercreditmonitoring.com at 844 875 1005 and got connected to a lady with a south African accent

After a nice little personal chat she confirmed that CheckFreeScore.com was afilliated.

I was going to call her out, but she gave me a really sad story about how her husband died unexpectedly of a heart attack, so she moved to Florida with her daughter so she could attend medical school to to become a cardiologist. I believed her so didn’t push on.

That’s not to say that this isn’t a scam. I believe that she may not be aware that it is. Didn’t try the other numbers yet but I will when I get the time.

Just called the rest of the numbers & ended up talking to the same 3 women including Desiree. I also heard a small group of people in the background & they all had some sort of African accent.

I also pushed them a little more in my conversation & have come to the conclusion that these ladies definitely know more than they are letting on, even if they are not aware of the full extent of their actions.

It is apparent to me that the ladies I talked with, as nice as they were, were coached to some extent to lie about who the owner was & to deny that all these websites were affiliated with one another. One of them acknowledged Courtney A McComas , & that some of these businesses were linked, while others flat out denied it. It is possible that they just didn’t know since most of these places operate on a need to know basis.

It is my belief that this call center is taking advantage of unsuspecting foreigners, (Africans mostly) coercing these people to go along with their script when they are at their lowest. You could say that about a lot of these call centers, but you can usually tell if the person you are talking to is in on the scam. In this case I think that the customer service reps know something is not quite right but are going along with it through fear of losing their job & not having any current viable option to generate an alternative source of income to break away just yet.
