need help trying to figure out if this company USS-Express is legit. im just getting some weird vibes off this company. they first find me on facebook and offer me a job. then sends me this form to fill out. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScFXkmjQ9ulOkpeAv_tQw0SPG91baTjrT94tIR4sonnuz5NmQ/viewform
i then get a call from their company saying that i filled the form out and all they want to do is offer me a position.

Looks shady to me after looking at the website.

Website is looking extremely suspicious. I wouldn’t accept the job offer if I were you.

When I looked it up, it a legit service. However, if something don’t seem right, always use your gut feeling when it comes to this stuff.

The whole site has numerous shady looking things. The customer and employee testimonials read like they were written by illiterate 4th graders.

The grammar on the site is terrible.

There is two things I want to point out:

  1. Is the connection to the website established? Like you got this Google Form which you filled out but it’s hosted on Google and not on the website uss-express.com. They just mention the website in the Google form but anything can be written there. It doesn’t mean it’s them necessarily. So proving it’s them would be if you have email conversation to/from any email address @uss-express.com. Could be also a phone call with the phone number listed on the website. Also, Google Forms are rarely/never used by companies. Maybe small startups or something but any bigger company has some other solution.

  2. I feel it’s a scam but maybe not necessarily scamming you but helping them to scam others. There’s this thing called triangle fraud (Triangulation Fraud: A Fast-Growing New Fraud Scheme). Another thing could be they’re hiring you as money mule and you have to ship stuff from A to B. Either way, it sounds too shady and I personally wouldn’t engage with them or let them explain their business model in detail.

Good points. I immediately thought about your point #2. In my LE days I dealt with two brothers who were receiving and forwarding stolen goods for scammers.

Shady company.
One ex-employee says
“Don’t pay you once you no longer can work for them.”

I’m not positive about this, but it’s certainly looks suspicious. I’ll share a quick story. My niece was contacted by a similar seeming " company" Who offered her a job. After her initial form was submitted, they told her she had the job, they settled on a salary and send her a “complete form”. She gave them all her information, Social Security number, driver’s license number, emergency contact name, of course name, date of birth, address, mother’s maiden name, etc.
