Need help calling scammers

Is there anything like fire RTC where you can call custom Toll free numbers for free because I cant be bothered with Bob RTC because most of the numbers are dead and not text now because im not in the US

@DylanSt#176578 not only is it the weekend, but 2 hours ago (as of this reply) it was ‘pre-peak’ for scammers.

@canned_doughnuts_#176586 k thanks

@DylanSt#176578 Install a softphone like Microsip and use a free public sip like Toll Free Termination, Toll Free VoIP, 18YY - Star Communication or alcazarnetworks.com have 162.212.218.16

@AussieScamBuster#176591 ok thanks

I’m outwith the US and used this method for textnow:

  • - Install the browser extension “Uvpn” (currently not blacklisted by Textnow)
  • - Set the vpn to Italy
  • - Sign up to textnow
  • - If it doesn't automatically redirect you to the messaging page, just go to `textnow.com/messaging`
  • - Remove the vpn, if you want. I'm not keen on freevpns and what they are doing with your data. But if you don't mind, then keep it. You won't need it for logging in.
  • @AussieScamBuster#176591 How would this be set up with something like Bria/X-Lite?

    @chefjeff#184276 I just use MicroSip, but you can use xlite/bria

    @AussieScamBuster#184287 When setting up xlite for it, it wants a username/call extension, do you know what I can type in there to get a connection?

    @chefjeff#184409 You could try putting in the USA number (1XXXXXXXXXX) you want to spoof in username and leave call extension blank. I suggest using MicroSip as it’s very easy to use. You can call 1 800 444 4444 to check what number you’re spoofing.

    @AussieScamBuster#184500 I tried out MicroSIP as well but I’m encountering the same authentication problem when trying to connect to starcompartners where it’s telling me that the login details are wrong.

    @chefjeff#184502 Enter the number you want to spoof in the “Username” field, if an invalid number is entered, then it will spoof a random number. You only need the “Username” and “Domain” fields entered. Using a VPN and/or call flooding may result in the IP address being banned or temporarily blocked.

    @AussieScamBuster#184506 Alright, thanks! I got it to work finally!
