On November 18, 2025, police in Navi Mumbai, India raided an illegal call center operating out of Millennium Park, Building No. 3, Sector 3, Turbhe for facilitating multiple scams against American nationals.
By day, the scammers operate multiple call centers to facilitate fake investment schemes, where they lure their victims with promises of high returns in stock market trading via WhatsApp, only to obtain their victims’ banking details to steal money and not offer any refunds. These call centers go under various names, such as
- The Wealth Growth
- The Capital Services
- Sigma
- Trade Knowledge Services
- Stock Vision
By night, however, the call center is used to facilitate Microsoft technical support scams under the business identity of “IT Mac World Solution.” A total of 20 bhenchods were arrested, including Sanjay Shikre, Gagan Thapper and Akshay Sharma
Police have also seized 38 cell phones, 21 desktop computers, 5 laptops, 5 SSDs and one GSM server.
