Sounds like these guys have been getting abused a bit. Nobody answers when the line picks up… just silence and occasional background noise. First time I said “Hello” they hung up. Second time I called, they actually answered back. Did the ‘missed call from this number’ routine and asked who I was speaking with. He told me he was Agent James Morris (think that was it… I didn’t write it down this time) with the SSA and then gave me his ‘badge ID’ number. I asked him to verify I was speaking with the SSA and he then said I wasn’t - that he was the owner of a sex toy shop that sells… and proceeded to name off about a dozen or so ‘products’ that he sells. So I knew he knew who I was, and there was no way I could top his sex store story, so I just mumbled something about this being another one of those scam calls and hung up.
