National Home Services USA, an extremely predatory group of home warranty scammers

On April 19, 2025, while I was out for an 80’s-themed party, my grandmother was to receive a “time-sensitive” letter concerning her home, even going as far as to list her financial institution as her lender. The letter urged her to call the toll-free Amazon number (888) 751-7775, an automated “home service contract hotline” that requires callers to provide their “property code.”

After I entered the code, I was informed that the house did not meet the “(city name) home warranty direct pay program” and was urged to press 1 to redeem the fake $199 voucher. Since I called on Easter Sunday, my calls were transferred to the voicemail for National Home Services USA, a fraudulent home warranty provider listed on the Better Business Bureau as operating out of 620 Newport Center Drive, Suite 1100, Newport Beach, California, 92660-8011.

User complaints on their BBB listing indicates patterns of fraudulent activity, such as:

Their toll-free Amazon number has also been reported on ScamPulse and has several listings on the BBB scam tracker..
