I received a call yesterday about my bill being in arrears and that technicians were going to disconnect me within the hour. Of course, this was not true. They asked me to call 800-876-7734. I have called them multiple times from various VOIP numbers. One guy admitted it was a scam and called me an a**hole, among other things.
I suggest you call them to express your opinion. They ask for an account number and address, so make sure you have a fake one ready to waste their time. These sound American, not foreign scammers.
