Hi everyone I hope you are all doing well. I’ve actually been calling scammers for a bit now and I just now decided to create a new channel to post interesting calls. I was just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to get started with the new channel and pro tips on baiting scammers. I usually call scammers with soundboards and myself. I actually created a new scammer soundboard. (All of the scammer audio sound clips come from an awesome channel called The Hoax Hotel.) I was thinking about posting a call I did with the soundboard but I’m hesitant mainly due to the fact the both scammers basically just swear at each other in Hindi and I’m not sure if people would find it all that entertaining. Any help would greatly be appreciated! Cheers

@TheShadyScammerAdministration#101629 hey there ![]()
Well I think best practice would be to cut the audio recording down to 10-15mins only. I see a lot of small scambaiting channels who upload the full 1h call recording with a lot of pauses where nobody speaks (e.g. while downloading Teamviewer) and a lot of bloat and conversation that isn’t interesting at all. Try to find the funny parts and cut around them and delete the rest to get down to max 15min. Otherwise, as viewer, I feel like you’re wasting my time instead of the scammer’s time. I don’t want to sit there and listen to 1h recoding of someone opening teamviewer. That I can do myself. I want to listen to funny and exceptional moments that I don’t experience in every call. I mean I also have videos on my channel of conversations that last 30mins but that means the original lasted 1h and I already cut away half of it.
Thumbnail pics are important to be clicked on YouTube so if you have the video, try to think about how to make a compelling thumbnail.
Maybe if they swear in Hindi try to translate it. On our Discord server in the #Hindi-translation channel are Indians, they can help you. That way people can understand what they’re saying.
Apart from that I don’t remember anything specific, up to your creativity ![]()
haha I should probably follow this advice. I don’t upload boring baits, but I also don’t cut unless I need to and… well… I’m still at only 77 subs so I guess that’s it.
idk, just make good content. That's what it boils down to.

[/quote]Well sadly that's not the case. I don't wanna brag but I feel I got some unrivaled content on my channel. Actually shutting down a call center, visiting a call center in person 2x (which NO other scambaiter has ever done), getting bribed by them to stop exposing them, a real love story that lasted 6 months. Still -in proportion to the content- I don't feel I'm getting enough views for this if you check out channels like IRLrosie or Trilogy Media which do nothing but boring calls that anyone can do and still they got tons of views and subs, so much more than I do.
It boils down to marketing, how well and clickbaity you do the advertisement, the title, the thumbnails, the description. And that's imho is a bad thing cuz people are stealing the attention off of videos which truly accomplished something unique. It's not a fair competition anymore about who produces the better content but who understands YouTube the best and gets the SEO right.
PS: Yes I'm jealous lol
I appreciate everyone’s feedback! I look forward to bringing some entertaining and interesting content!
if it helps, I value your content more @NeeP#101646
There’s one new guy who just popped up two months ago… “Scammer Payback”. His first video he already has the clickbait thumbnail science nailed down, he knows to put the white outline over himself laughing (basically every Kitboga thumbnail). He does the highlights pre-quel at the start of the video showing parts of the funniest part of the call… which is a standard practice now. And he’s already got editing going on in his vids like a 10-year Youtube veteran.
His calls are genuine. He's watchable, although he probably should stop doing his boring soliloquy/monologue introductions at the beginning and end and just put a quick out-tro or something.
Trilogy Media OTOH is full of faked content or badly stitched together if you're in it to learn how to scambait since it's edited purely for entertainment value and nothing more.
They also use a cell phone when talking on camera which, even if you use SpoofCard which is still a very bad idea, the kids watching it aren't told in any disclaimer that calling scammers from your personal cell is the stupidest thing in the world to do.
When I eventually get to the point in BobRTC of allowing content-creator stuff to be shared, I cannot see how I could ever allow dangerous content like Trilogy's to move across BobRTC.

hey man ! good work so far bobrtc is a revolution against scammers
Anyways i ve been calling PremiumTechieSupport using your service and they shut their number down after i spam them
there a lot of numbers in scammer.info of PTS but only one is callable on bobrtc so please add all their numbers since they are my favourite scam company to annoy :D
some of the numbers on this thread are still live : http://scammer.info/d/14931-premium-techie-support-scam-18775675777/8
@achraf#101718 which of the numbers should be added?
@NeeP#101646 your content is definitely much more interesting and is more along the style of Jim Browning (who I am also a fan of). It’s a shame that all the hard work you put into gathering information and researching is completely ignored by the police and authorities in India that should be shutting these scumbags down instantly. Your bribery videos just about summed up how the whole scummy system operates.
That being said your monkey call flooder videos still have me in stitches everytime!
@kenzo#101685 yes I agree. I watched a live stream he did last night he comes across well. He explained he has been working in cyber security for the last 10 years and recently moved into scambaiting. He also said he has someone else to edit his videos for him.
