On February 3, 2025, police in Mumbai, India raided an illegal call center in the Sakinaka area for fraudulently selling male enhancement supplements to American citizens, bypassing traditional phone lines through the use of ViciDial. Six scammers were arrested:
- Asad Saleem Sayed, the 32-year-old kingpin
- Zaid Ehsan Shaikh, the 31-year-old manager
- Owais Ehsan Shaikh (27)
- Taufiq Wasim Shaikh (20)
- Adnan Ahmed Sayyed (21)
- Rehan Yaya Khan (18)
Police have also seized laptops and cell phones, which contain important records like a database of potential targets and other incriminating evidence.
